Our car wash business has been thriving for three generations and started in 1966 when Billy Reynolds built his first car wash down highway 501 in Roxboro NC operating as Carolina Pride Car Wash, with he and his son Dale operating the store for many years until 1989 when Dale would build his own car wash in Durham; the first car wash named Autorific off the corner of Guess Road opened with a cutting edge automatic touchless wash and was fitted with self-manufactured self-serve car wash equipment in seven bays. Billy would retire at the turn of the millennium with Dale taking over full operations of both Autorific and Carolina Pride Car Wash.

Dale would expand the business further in 2006 as he would build the second Autorific in Durham next to the McDonalds on Hillsborough Road with two automatic washes, then a decade later in 2017 Dale and his sons Harrison and Lee would remodel and start the first Autorific in Hillsborough with the cutting edge car wash equipment that included their first softtouch wash and free vacuums with the purchase of a wash, with the other stores seeing upgrades in similar fashion and sharing the brand name Autorific Car Wash. Today, Dale is succeeded by Harrison and Lee who operate the four Autorific stores and pride themselves on their years of experience and desire to help others in the local triangle community.
